SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE -1- SECOND WEEK π©π»π«
The second week of my school internship phase 1 was filled with learning experiences and new challenges. I began the week with renewed energy and was eager to apply the feedback I received during the first week. Each day brought a different atmosphere—from regular teaching to test tension and examination day pressure. It was a week that helped me better understand student behavior, classroom dynamics, and the importance of being flexible as a teacher.
On Monday, the school environment was calm and welcoming. The teaching space was arranged well, and I made sure my teaching aids were ready before class. The students were energetic and curious, making the classroom lively. They responded well to the activities I had planned, showing good engagement throughout the lesson. It felt rewarding to see them participate actively and enjoy the learning process.
Wednesday was slightly different. There was a tense atmosphere in the school due to the upcoming unit tests. Many students were nervous, which affected their initial engagement in class. However, despite their anxiety, they tried to focus and cooperate with the lesson. I encouraged them to stay positive and revised key points to boost their confidence before the test. It was a moment where I realized the emotional side of teaching and the importance of being supportive.
Friday was the examination day, and the mood in school was serious and focused. Students were busy with last-minute revisions. During the exam, I observed that many students found the questions tough. Some looked discouraged, but they still attempted to give their best. It was difficult to see them struggle, but it reminded me of the importance of thorough preparation and clear instruction during lessons. Also the Student Police Cadet Project was Inaugurated by Honourable minister Ganesh Kumar.
