As part of the B.Ed curriculum, the preparation of a digital textbook holds great need and significance in the present educational scenario. It supports learner-centred and technology-integrated teaching by providing easy access to content anytime and anywhere, thereby promoting self-learning and inclusiveness. A digital textbook enriches learning through multimedia elements such as images, audio, videos, and interactive activities, which enhance students’ motivation, comprehension, and retention. It also helps teachers adopt innovative pedagogical practices, catering to diverse learning styles and individual differences. The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great pride and patriotic fervour at Ramavilasom Training College, Valakom. Students and staff reached the college by 8.15 a.m., reflecting discipline and enthusiasm for the national occasion. The programme began with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal In-Charge, Manju Kumari Miss, followed by respectful salutation and observance of the moment. The formal inauguration was conducted at the Valsalama Memorial Hall, where the significance of Republic Day and constitutional values was highlighted. The celebration fostered a strong sense of unity, responsibility, and respect for the democratic ideals of the nation among the participants, making the occasion meaningful and memorable.

The seventh week of my school internship was a meaningful and enriching experience. The overall school environment was disciplined and well-organized, creating a positive atmosphere for teaching and learning. I observed that school discipline was strictly followed by both students and teachers, which helped maintain order and punctuality throughout the day. Students actively participated in the learning process and showed interest during classroom activities, discussions, and interactions. Their enthusiasm and cooperation made the teaching sessions engaging and effective. During this week, I was also given the opportunity to serve as a guide for the rituals conducted in the school church, which was a valuable and responsible experience for me. SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2 WEEK-6👩🏻‍🏫✨

The sixth week of the school internship was a valuable and enriching experience. Students actively participated in classroom activities, showing interest and enthusiasm, especially during interactive sessions. I got a good opportunity to take classes for UP students on Spoken English, where I engaged them through simple conversations, role plays, and pronunciation activities, which helped improve their confidence and speaking skills. Overall, the week was productive and satisfying, as it enhanced my teaching experience, classroom management skills, and understanding of students’ learning needs.

After a break for university examinations, the second phase of teaching practice has resumed smoothly for two days, Tuesday and Wednesday. These days were used productively for classroom teaching, preparation of teaching materials, and academic activities. Thursday was declared a holiday, as the school principal granted leave for examination preparation in view of the university examination scheduled on Friday.

RVTC CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION 2K25 🌲⭐❄️

The Christmas and New Year Celebration was organised by Kalaaksha College Union at Ramavilasom Training College, Valakom, on 23rd December at 10:00 a.m. in the Valsalamma Memorial Hall. The programme began with a prayer by the college choir, followed by a warm welcome speech delivered by the Principal, Dr. Rany S. The Presidential Address was given by the Chairperson, Ms. Sneha M. The celebration was formally inaugurated by the chief guest, Rev. Sony Philip, who also delivered the Christmas message, highlighting the values of love, peace, and harmony. Felicitations were offered by Mr. Alan Yohannan, Assistant Professor in English, appreciating the collective efforts of the organisers. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Adithya Jayesh, General Secretary, after which various cultural programmes added colour and festive spirit to the occasion, making the celebration memorable and joyful for all participants.
